A Club for All
We run a range of social tennis sessions and intra-club tournaments throughout the year.
Saturday Afternoons 2pm -4pm
Every Saturday afternoon, adult members are welcome to join in for social tennis.
Monthly Social tournament
From April - November we run friendly American tournaments on the first Saturday afternoon of the month.
Stanley Fletcher Cup
Normally held in May, this annual mixed doubles tournament is an all day tournament with pairs drawn at random. A perennial favourite for club members!
Club Championship
The Annual Club Championship runs July-August each year with men's and women's singles, Mixed, men's and women's doubles titles up for grabs.
Handicap tournament
From September to October, the annual Handicap tournament runs in a similar format to the Open tournament, but with doubles partnerships drawn at random, and players/partnerships seeded and handicapped to level the playing field!
Vets tournament
The Vets tournament first ran in 2016 and due to popular demand will now be a permanent fixture of our season. Run in an identical format to the Club Open tournament, the Vets tournament is for female members over 40 and male members over 45.
Social ladies mornings
On Tuesday and Friday mornings throughout the year, you will find the courts buzzing with eager ladies keen to play semi-structured social doubles games. Current and new female members are always welcome to come along and join in.
Social men's mornings
On Monday and Thursday mornings you will find some gents on court playing a few relaxed sets. Current and new male members are encouraged to join in with these sessions.
